Morning Quinoa

Preparation Time: 10mins 
Servings: 4 

2 c. Non-fat milk 
1 c. Quinoa 
¼ c. Brown sugar 
½ tsp. Cinnamon 
¼ c. sliced Slivered almonds 
¼ c. Dried currants 

1- Wash the quinoa properly. In a saucepan, bring milk to a boil. 
2- Bring the milk to a boil in a medium saucepan. 
3- Add quinoa and continue boiling. Cover pot and bring flame to low and simmer until most of the liquid is dissolved (about 15 mins). 
4- Turn off heat and use a fork to fluff. Add other ingredients and mix well. 
5- Cover and put aside for 15 mins.
